2 free CDs + $11 in YOUR pocket!

Yes, you read it right, 2 CDs and $11 in your pocket. Here's how -chapeaus off to savoirfare over at Slickdeals:

- Log into Ebates which is offering a $12 rebate if you sign up for yourmusic.com through their link. If you don't already have an Ebates account, you will get a $5 bonus for signing up and completing one offer.
- Go the Music Stores and click on the yourmusic.com link (for the $12 sign-up rebate)
- Once you get to yourmusic.com, enter 'gamecd' in the promo code box. This drops your price from $6.99/cd down to $5.99/cd AND gives you a free CD
- Choose a cd that you want to put in your queue; you won't get this one right away. Click on the start now button and go through the sign-up process.
- Once you're signed up, look for another CD that you want to get right now and add it to your cart.
- Go to your cart, click on the Redeem Free CDs window and drag it to 1. Then update your cart - the CD in your cart should now be FREE including shipping.
- After you get your free CD and the CD in your queue ($5.99), cancel your subscription.
- TOTAL: 2 CDs for $5.99 - $12 rebate = -$6.01, if you include a $5 Ebates bonus, -$11.01

They don't have many to select from, but I got a good pair - Nick Drake and Vince Guaraldi. Yes, go ahead, you may laugh at my musical tastes.

How difficult is it to cancel? I've had varying levels of difficulty in cancelling these types of services - from the really easy to the "WHAT? THEY CHARGED ME AGAIN? DOUBLE?!?"

I haven't seen anyone complaining of trouble canceling on the FW and SD forums. It people did have trouble, there'd be plenty of complaints. It seems like people who already were subscribers to this also have had a good experience.

I just cancelled my account yesterday, and I had absolutely no problem. Did it online and received email confirmation immediately.
