Free 2GB SD card + $10 in YOUR pocket!

I don't know what it is with buy.com, but they seem to be giving these things away like a prostitute with an STD (last week). This week, it's a free 2GB SD card and $10 for using Google checkout.

Use BigCrumbs (2.7%) to make an additional $1.35 or Ebates (1%) to make an additional $0.50.

Whoever said there's no such thing as a free lunch didn't have these deals back in the day!

Thank you! I already got the 512 SD card from last week, and I don't really have $50 on hand to finance this one until the rebate comes, but I'm sending the link to this page to all my friends who missed the last one!

(You rock.)

I was quite tempted when I read this post and your earlier post on buy.com offers. But the "mail-in rebate" part put me off. Anyway, Golbguru at "Money, matter and more musings" has an interesting post today about mail-in rebates. And I was immediately reminded of reading your recent posts about buy.com offers :) Thought you might find it interesting too. Here's the link.

Thanks ispf, I enjoyed reading the article. He's right, rebates aren't for everybody, but if you make purchases knowing the stipulations and risks involved with some rebates, you can come away with some great deals (as in free!)
